The Most Strategic Data Centers for Reaching the World's Best Networks

Internet Exchange

The Telx Internet Exchange (TIE) brings together regional IP networks from content providers and other networks onto a single, neutral, privately-owned network fabric. This increases performance and reliability for our customers due to reduced hop count and faster application response time through direct interconnection.  At the same time, TIE offers reduced cost compared to IP transit products.

In order to take advantage of the Telx Internet Exchange, clients must have a presence in one of our C³ Cloud Connection Centers™ and have a registered BGP AS number.  Additional specifications on the scalability of our solution can be found here.

NBS’s Telx Story
“Connecting to the growing number of content and service providers in the Internet Connect – IP Peering system simplifies complex service level interactions and allows us to leverage our continuing investment in IP and broadband technology.” said NBS’s CEO Jon Kaufman. “In our efforts to provide our end users with maximum flexibility, and service value, our Telx partnership allows us to pick and choose the carrier that makes the most sense for a particular application or location. As a result, less investment is needed to interconnect with our carrier partners and we are able to pass that savings along to our customers. Best of all, new carriers can be turned up virtually instantly,” added Mr. Kaufman.
